Two Methods
Method 1 - Take a camera and find location where the light/sun is behind your subject. Focus on the bright background in order to darken the foreground/subject. Try a few different poses to create a distinct look.
Method 2 - Take an photo of your subject in front of a solid coloured back ground. Take a seperate photo of a background you would like to use.
Use Adobe Express or Photoshop to remove the background. Using photoshop, use the alt-left click trick to cut out your silhouette from black background.
Add your background photo to seperate layer.
Add another layer and add some sun, like the image below. Place the sun on the layer above your background and change the blend mode to "screen"
Use a member of your group as the subject or use a prop (Lego, stapler, paper cut-out)

Use PowerPoint, Flipanim.com, or Adobe Animate to create an animation of a poem or song.
It could be an original poem/song or a song you like.
You can just use the lyrics, or include audio if you know how.
Choose Adobe Animate form your PC apps.
Open a new project and choose HD for the size of your canvas.
In the right panel select "Assets" then "Static" and Backgrounds.
Choose any background you like and drag in on to the canvas. Zoom out and stretch the background so it extends beyond the canvas.
In the "Assets" menu choose "Static", "Characters" then scroll to the bottom and select one of the farmer characters. Drag the character and drop them into the middle of the canvas.
Choose your background layer and click on frame 60 then select "Add frame"
Do the same thing for your Farmer layer.
To make your farmer walk:
In the assets menu select "animation" then "rigs"
Drag the "farmer green walk" rig on to your farmer.
Right click on Frame 60 of your background layer and select "motion tween"
Drag the background to the left until the right edge lines up with edge of the canvas.
Click the play button in the top right corner to preview your animation.
Select "Share, Publish" to save your animation and add it to your portfolio.

Printing day,
Finish creating your 3D design for Mr. Edwards to print in the library.
Make sure that your design is around the same size as or smaller than 100mm x 100mm x 100mm
When complete, click "Export" in the top right corner. Choose .stl file type.
MAKE SURE the filename contains your NAME and COLOUR you would like your print to be.
After it has exported, transfer your file from your Downloads folder to your OneDrive.
Ask Mr. Clark for the USB drive to save the file again for Mr. Edwards.
Open your .stl file and take a screenshot to add to your Portfolio.

1. Create an animal mashup with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Firefly
Save your image
2. Go to Pixabay.com - Select Sound Effects from the search menu and find the sounds your animal makes.
Download each sound.
3. Open - Ableton Live (on your PC)
Load each sound into a different channel in the Arrangement View
Adjust the volume and eq to create a mashup of your animal sounds.
4. Open - Scratch 3
In the Sprite settings select "upload sprite" and upload your mashup.
In the sounds tab select "upload sound" and upload your audio mashup.
In the code tab - add a "when this sprite is clicked" block and a "Play sound" block with your sound selected.
Save your project
Create a text effect in Adobe Express - go to https://new.express.adobe.com/
Scroll down until you find Text Effects
After creating yoru text effect - Close the panel on the left to bring up the Text settings

Changing the background colour
Adding outline
Adding Shadow
Once completed, scroll down to the bottom of the Text panel and choose "Animation"
Adjust the "In, Looping, and Out" settings.
When finished, click "Download" in the top right corner of your window.
Insert the video into your Term 4 Portfolio
The Bokeh effect is a camera technique that blurs much of your images background but keeps the subject in focus.
Try creating the effect using two different techniques.

Technique 2: Photoshop
Load an image into photoshop that has a subject in the foreground.
Create a title page/slide with the title "Term 4 Portfolio"
Include an original image to go with your title.

Scroll down the page until you see "Text Effects" a click on the link.
Create FOUR different text effects by writing a description in the top prompt box.
Adjust the results by selecting different customizations below.
Take a screenshot of each effect and copy them to your portfolio.
Create a new blank project
Select the rectangle tool at the top of the screen and then draw a black box as your first layer
Select the layer then choose under "Effect, simulation, CC particle world"
On the Effect Controls:
Try out a few different particle types, hit the space bar to see the simulation.
Try adjusting the physics
Next:
Select "Textured quad polygon" beside particle type
Add a second layer to your project of an image of your choice.
Click the eyeball icon on your new layer to make it invisible
Select your original shape layer and effect controls
Click "texture" and click the dropdown menu beside "Texture Layer" and select the image you inserted.
Click the space bar to run the simulation.
Adjust the properties to make your simulation unique.
Create a new project with a more interesting background and objects to add a particle simulation to.
When finished
Select Export - Render
Click beside "Output To" and choose your OneDrive

Open Adobe After Effects from your PC's apps list.
Create a New Project and then click on "New Composition from Footage"
Select the video you downloaded earlier
Hit the "space" bar to watch the video.
Add a fade-in Title
Click on the "Horizontal Type Tool" at the top of the screen and then click on the video where you want the type to appear.
Type the words "Brooks Media"
Look at the "Properties" tab on the right side of the screen.
Select "Opacity" and slide the value to 0% and click on the stopwatch or "Keyframe" logo to the left.
Movie ahead in the video, slide the opacity to 100% and click keyframe again.
Take a screenshot of your project and add it to your Portfolio.
